Nebius, an Amsterdam-listed company that rents out GPU capacity for training and running AI models. On 24 August it closed a $5.75bn borrowing, and the announcement says the money goes on building and expanding its data centres, developing its cloud platform and buying GPUs. Its engineering roles already carry an explicit Remote-Europe option. source
Omilia builds the voice systems that answer the phone when you call a bank or an insurer, and says one deployment at a large US bank handles well over a million calls a day. On 19 August it raised $67M, having grown to more than $60M of annual revenue without taking new investment along the way.
